I'd Wax It Policies

Here at I'd Wax It, it is very important for me to keep myself and my clients as safe as possible. I keep certain policies in place in order to do that. I also have policies in place to help me keep my business running as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Here are a few policies that every person that schedules an appointment with me will be required to sign.

Cancelation Policy

I’d Wax It requires a minimum 24-hour notice to cancel or change any appointment and a credit card to hold any appointment while booking. Once an appointment is booked – unless we hear otherwise – I’ll expect (and be excited for) you to be here. No-show and cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may be charged up to the half the price of the booked service(s) price (plus tax if applicable) to the credit card with which they were held.

I understand life happens, and sometimes you will need to cancel your appointment within the 24-hour period due to an emergency. I will do my best to give grace in these moments, but I do track all late cancellations and no-shows to ensure this policy is not abused.

Changes to Appointments

Clients will be charged for all scheduled services unless a 24 hour notice is given. Exceptions will be made due to condition of the skin such as sun burns, open wounds/lesions, or medications.

If a client would like to add a service at the time of the appointment the service will only be added if time allows and there is not another appointment already scheduled that an added service would interfere with.

Sexual Harassment Policy

I, Arlene Holland, Owner of I’d Wax It, am committed to providing a safe, professional, and harassment-free environment. Sexual harassment will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Sexual harassment is defined as any behavior characterized by unwanted or inappropriate sexual remarks, gestures, or physical advances in a workplace or other professional setting.

If sexual harassment occurs during an appointment, I will immediately stop the service, ask you to leave the premises, and charge the full amount for the services scheduled. You will also be permanently dismissed as a client.

Sexual harassment toward me includes, but is not limited to:

Requests for sexual favors during an appointment
Requests for inappropriate removal of my clothing
Touching your genitals during the appointment
Sharing explicit or sexual stories
Sexual comments, jokes, gestures, or suggestions that make me uncomfortable
